The Specialist in Underwater Pool Repair
AVERAGE
time & cost (no drain) by Mike to repair a pool
(15,000
gallons or MORE)
No water is being drained or refilled so there is no lost time or cost.
No water drained means pool does not need sequestering agents, Cyanuric Acid or Calcium Chloride added.
pH of pool will typically rise during my repair. I can add muriatic acid to balance just before I leave.
The average cost I charge to remove rusted rebar, the stain, then patch and seal is $400-$700.00. The average cost for a "pop off" is $325.
The average time to complete the repair from the time I arrive until the time I leave is 2-4 hours.
To be
safe, I turn the pool sweep off and recommend no one swims until the next
day (the patch
takes 2 hours to harden).
THEREFORE IT WILL COST ON AVERAGE $325-$700 AND YOU WILL BE SWIMMING THE NEXT DAY WITH NO RISK OF BLISTERING POOL PLASTER OR DANGER OF SOMEONE FALLING IN AND INJURING THEMSELVES.
