Photos of a typical Rebar Job

So you say the stain is just the size of a golf ball...

This is the area I've chipped and jackhammered out after I've chased all the corroded rebar and removed it.
I have yet to tie in new rebar to stabilize the wall.

Pool owners always ask, "why is it so expensive to repair that little spot?"
These photos should illustrate why.
It's not always this bad, but many times it is. I just don't know how far the corrosion has traveled
until I open it up and start chipping.

If I do not get all the corroded rebar out it will eventually return at a later time!
It is very important to have a competent and experienced repair person.

(This is a pool we drained. It was winter and too cold to dive.
The homeowner wanted it done ASAP so we took appropriate precautions and emptied it.)
